P90X 90 Day Challenge
P90X,Fitness Challenge,90 Day Challenge,Weightloss
About ready to wrap up 4 weeks of Brazil Butt Lift. What’s next? Monday April 26th I am starting a rotation of P90X. I am going to complete this round if it kills me! Which after watching The Biggest Loser, I have learned that eXtreme exercise will not kill me! It might melt of the inches and pounds but wont kill me!
I would really like to see as many people as possible do this with me. You don’t have to be doing P90X, any 90 day program will do. Even if it is a hybrid of several programs that you have come up with your self. Just make a commitment, with me, to do 90 days of eXtreme exercise 6 days a week, eating only in Tiers 1 and 2 of Michi’s Ladder, drinking your required daily amount of water and taking your supplements. Plus, you must take Day 1, Day 30, Day 60 and Day 90 measurements and photos.
This is only for those that are serious about getting into shape. This is not going to be easy, it is not supposed to be. But in 90 days you will not be regretting that you took this challenge!

Power 90, Day 22
Day 21 was my rest day, yesterday, and today I did sculpt phase I-II completing day 22. This also starts week 4 for me.
I pushed myself to do 15 reps in all of the exercises today. The only ones I didn't do 15 was the dips and the 7-7-7 I only did a total of 14. My goal in the beginning was to do phase I-II Week 1-6 and phase III-IV Week 7-12. That is still my goal. I figured I better be up to doing the max reps in all of the exercises before I move to the next phase.

Power 90, Day 16
Working out in the mornings is really working for me. It is a great way to jump start the day! It also keeps me honest on my eating. Who wants to mess up all of that hard work you did sweating it out with Tony? Not me!
KPP!

Power 90, Day 15
I really like working out on the weekends. I can get up at 9am, still be up before anyone else, watch a little tv and then do my workout around 10am. Great way to start the weekend.
Just did my grocery shopping for the week. Lots of chicken, fish, tons and tons of vegetables and some fruit. I switched to soy milk a few weeks ago so the only dairy I currently eat is a 4oz cup of Activia light vanilla which I use in one of my smoothies I make with my protein powder.
I am going to be cutting out my coffee and soda starting tomorrow. I had already had my coffee today when I decided to do this. I drink diet soda and usually only have 1 a day. But my coffee, that is a totally different story. I bought a few different types of tea at the store today and am going to try these out and see what I like best. I got, English Breakfast tea, Green tea and Lemon Ginger tea. I am also going to be upping my water intake. Currently I drink about 8-9 glasses a day. I am now going to shoot for 12-15 glasses a day.
Keep pushing play!

Power 90, Day 13
I really struggled this morning. I was so lethargic. It was like I had no energy. Normally I get up in the morning and take my Performance Tablets and wait 30-45 minutes before starting my workout, like it states to on the bottle. Well this morning I got up a little late so I just popped the tablets and started working out. I don't think I was even really awake till over half way through the DVD. I will not do that again! Definitely my worst workout to date.

Power 90 Day 12
Day 12 Complete, sculpt! Last night I was soooo tired I went to bed early. I was feeling sore all over. This morning my neck/shoulder area was and still is pretty sore. I think it is a combination of increasing my intensity and really working out the muscle groups this week and a lot going on with work which equals stress and tension in my body.

Power 90 Day 11
I actually could tell a difference today doing the workout. Power Yoga was easier, still way hard, but I am doing better than before. I have increased my intensity with the jumping jacks/running so I can really feel the burn.
The other big thing is when I was doing all of the knee raises in the beginning my hip flexors (I believe that is what it is called) were really tired and sore straight from the get go. Today not so.
Oh and when I did the jab, punch with my right leg forward - when I did the punch and would move/twist my left knee before I felt a twinge of pain. I would have to do less of full body movement on that move. Today was a whole different story! I could move and it felt good!
I am so excited to see these kinds of changes in my body already.
Keep pushing play!

Power 90 Day 10
Did Sculpt today. I am increasing my intensity this week. I pushed through and did 10 pushups on each circuit instead of the 8 I did last week. However, when I got to the 7-7-7 it was more like 4-2-0. It was all I could do just to do that, my arms were like spaghetti!

Power 90 Day 9
I do take it a little bit easier whenever it calls for putting all of your weight on your left knee. My left knee is much weaker and I feel a twinge of pain their during the workout and after. Nothing really bad, but I feel if I am not careful and slowly strengthen that knee it could get worse. The only thing this really effects is the side kicks. I still do them just not as high on that side.
P90 Thoughts
In the past I wanted results now, that is not realistic. I know this is about a lifetime commitment of getting healthy and staying healthy. Now saying all of that I would like to see an 8-10lb loss each month. More than that I will be doing the happy dance less than that I will have to remind myself that I completed 30 days and that is a pretty big accomplishment too.
Keep Pushing Play!

Week 1 Power 90 - DONE
I am taking this one day at a time and am feeling really good about all I have accomplished. Cardio/Ab days are really tough for me. But I keep pushing play. Don't get me wrong, the sculpt days and the pushups are hard but the cardio days are even tougher for me.
I have a strong feeling I will move up to phase III-IV on my sculpt before I do on my cardio.
Make it a great day!

Power 90 Day 5
Day 5 Completed, Phase I-II Sculpt.
Whew! When I get to the 3rd circuit with the 7-7-7 pushups my grunting and groaning is definitely louder! The close pushups are really really hard for me. Wow!
Going strong and feeling great!
Keep Pushing Play!
Power 90 Day 4: 3/24/09
Day 4 completed, Cardio and Abs 100.
One of the transition moves during the Power Yoga I almost fall flat on my face everytime. It is pretty funny. It doesn't stop me from trying everytime. I will be a master at it one day!
Make it a great day!
Power 90 Day 3: 3/23/09
Day 3 completed. Did Sculpt this morning.
My eating and drinking my water and taking my supplements have been spot on so far. Today is my birthday so my eating will most likely have a little variation in there that I normally wouldn't include. I am not trying to be perfect but trying to be good to my body. I have gotten stuck in that it is all or nothing mentality in the past and when I go a little outside of what I think is "perfect" than I beat myself up pretty bad and sometimes completely fall off the wagon.
I am taking it one day at a time. Yesterday is gone forever, Tomorrow is in the future, Today is right NOW.
Ok, enough of my ramblings. Make it a great day.
Keep pushing play.
